Okpella is a clan situated along Benin-Abuja federal highway. The indigenes of Okpella often pride themselves as the host community of natural based mineral resources including but not limited to limestone, calcium, granite, feldspar, talc, clay, marble.
The indigenes of Okpella have always and remain receptive of investors who wish to tap from this natural resources and develop the community.
Undoubtedly, the uncommon leadership capabilities of the immediate past Okuokpellagbe of Okpella HRM Late ALH DR A.Y.E. Dirisu (JP) OON is sorely missed to wit his entire reign as paramount ruler of Okpella Clan witnessed such unprecedented investor friendly environment particular of which BUA GROUP and several other operational companies/industries thrives to this present day.
Growing up as an Okpella indigene became and remains a huge source of pride personally, I felt unstoppable at the mention of Okpella in classrooms of mine and that of others alike.
On the internet today, Prince A.Y.E Dirisu F.I.C.M.C lead partner of aydlegal initiated a corrective post in refute of Bua Group’s LinkedIn post. According to him, BUA group erred while referring to Obu Okpella as simply Obu Edo State. In his own words “Obu is not an autonomous community in Edo state and/or Nigeria at large”… As presented below;
This posts has no intendment to frustrate or incite the general public. Rather, this post seeks to elevate Okpella in good standards (social & mainstream media inclusive) as against merely representing OKPELLA on cement transportation trucks only as evidence in a attached photo to the referenced post.
We the entire Okpella indigenes take nothing in misrepresentation of Okpella Clan as Little albeit it may be/seem so for others.
Thank you for reading as we anticipate immediate corrections and cognizance in future posts/representations.
Princess O.R. DIRISU-OLOKODE.
